so, so behind

Knock, knock, knock... May I come in? Is there anyone here still after this long, totally boring hiatus?

I always thought it was a bit lame to write a post to apologize for not being an active blogger. But well, this is kinda like that. I've been super busy lately with work, and so tired. And the weather has been awful, cold and rainy, and I just want to sleep. When there's nothing happening in your life beside that, blogging is no fun, right?

It's not totally true though. There have been some things going on.

For example, I visited Austin and had the best donut of my life (yep, that IS bacon!):

 I sold my modern Blythe doll collection so I could get a couple of vintage ones: 

Figaro and Sofia had their adoption anniversaries in March (2 and 9 years, respectively):

I saw Lady Gaga in person and she totally rocked my world:

I finally rearranged the dining room wall so I could display my prized Cathrineholm collection:

Not bad, not bad at all.

There are also a few projects I need to tackle, including this blog. I want to change this space a bit. Ok, a lot. Sooner than later I'll have a different layout and a different approach. More color, more inspiration, more passion. So stay tuned! I promise I will too.

We totally have loads of Cathrineholm bowls at our family cabin and until now I didn't really think much of them...actually I recall filling them with sand and making and trying to make sandcastles out of them as a kid!
