The Italian company Alessi was founded in 1921 by Giovanni Alessi. Since then, they have been creating the most unique and creative houseware products. If you want an amazing papertowel holder, Alessi has it. If you need to spoil your puppy with a sleek designed dog food bowl, Alessi has it. I personally would like to have Alessi products all over my kitchen but alas, I can't afford them. But I can sure drool over them!

Ok, ok... I am a cat person. But how can you resist a dog? I certainly can't . I'm not sure if I could have a dog of my own, but whenever I see one I just go crazy: I play with them, roll on the ground with them, squeeze them and talk to them in silly voices. Every time I find a vintage enamel flower brooch I close my eyes and repeat the following mantra in my head 10 times: I don't need another collection. So far I've managed to stay away from this temptation, but it is so hard! Oh how beautiful they are... I've been a redhead since high-school (don't tell anyone, but that was a long time ago) and since then I have dyed my hair all types of shades -- deep red, light auburn, orange red, golden red, burgundy.
